Jared Padelecki was the actor we chose to portray me, as a "young" Thomas Kinkade. Arla Campus had seen him on the TV show "Gilmore Girls" and felt he would be the perfect Thomas Kinkade. This guy is a movie star! He’s Jimmy Stewart meets Tom Hanks. He’s a delightful young man, and a very good actor. As I mentioned previously, Nanette tells me that we are alike in personality, though perhaps not in movie-star looks.

JARED

I just watched your DVD which came out this past week and was moved so greatly by the inspiration that came to you. My daughter is also trying to find her "niche" in her expressions of art & music...and life. We were both touched by your story. Thank you for making this movie.
Thanks Thom. For putting out a movie telling your story. I haven't seen the movie yet, but plan to pick up a copy. Sure to be a visual masterpiece as are your paintings. Seven years ago Holiday Gathering joined me and thereafter so did my wife and two children. The collection has melded in our home. Never did I realize art could touch so close to the core.
