SO, WHAT'S THE POINT?

I create paintings that inspire people. I paint things people believe in. Things like home, family, and the beauty of nature. We live in a crazy world and so much bombards us continuously! Life is just too complex. We have chaos all around us! Through my artwork, I want to remind you of the simpler things in life – things worth believing in. I want to give you a glimpse of serenity in the quietude of a meadow, an ambling country trail, a mountain capped with snow. These are images we all relate to because we all have those secret places in our heart we all dream of. Places we can feel at peace. Turn on the evening news at night – it’s a guaranteed formula for anxiety.

Turn off CNN for once, tonight, and turn on some serenity. Spend some time with someone you love. Curl up with a book that inspires you. Take a moment and look at one of my paintings and find some serenity in this chaotic world.

Well said. I own two of your paintings and Serenity is one of them. We put it in the main traffic room (family room). So no matter where I go in our house, I pass the paintings everytime and they always relax me. Sometimes my husband and I will sit down and just stare at the painting.

Thank you for using your gift from God to inspire others.

Thank you so much for creating your wonderful paintings. I can always find someplace to "escape" to in every one of them.

That is what I love about your paintings- the serenity, light and peace. I don't like dark, disturbing art. I understand why some artists need to express the darker side of life, but I don't want to view it.

I have recently inherited a nativity collection that you designed. With the star of hope creche and 18 characters plus the holy family. Could you tell me about your inspirations for including the selected attendants to the nativity scene? and the king's names are curious to me also. Are they names from the bible account?

Looks like you had a terrific time in Indianapolis. Congrats on the commission too!
