My Newest Painting: Viva Las Vegas

This is actually my first tribute to Las Vegas. I have always enjoyed the energy this wonderful city generates, but I wanted to find the proper inspiration. As it turned out, all I needed was a plane ride. As I was swooping into Las Vegas during a recent road trip, I instructed the pilot of the small plane we were aboard to take an extra pass just above the Las Vegas strip. The sun was setting and the light was perfect. The view that lay spread before me became my painting Viva Las Vegas.

I can't wait to see that painting. How bright and colorful that one will be.

Hi, Thomas, how are you? I'm from Brazil. Days ago, I've received an e-mail with your pictures. They're wonderful. So, I decided to ask your permisson to use one or two of them to make a layout for a blog. But it's difficult to me to choose which one. Please, say yes... I have one blog too. Visit it. And give me a positive answer. Kisses. (Sorry, but I don't know how to write the correct words)

I love your painting, but it seems that the landmarks are not where accurate. Was this by design, or am I looking at it from the wrong angle?
