During times of crisis, Americans always step up to help. The earthquake in Haiti is a prime example of this, as many people in this country have donated significant amounts of money and aid. I’m certain that many of my collectors have already donated, but if you haven’t yet, you can get involved by contacting the American Red Cross, Doctors Without Borders, UNICEF, World Vision and/or Mercy Corps. The T.V. images and the news in our newspapers about Haiti are dire, but the entire world is ready to continue giving, because Haiti needs the assistance this country so requires. Share some of the light with Haiti and you’ll reap amazing results over and over again. Giving generously to people we don’t know and whom we will never meet, is one of the greatest and purest acts that anyone can perform.

Thank you for your eloquent words on the needs of those in Haiti. We have a wonderful opportunity to share the love of Christ by ministering to these people at their point of need.
You said it best when you wrote these words: "this is a wonderful opportunity to share the love of Christ by ministering to these people at their point of need." We clearly have a moral imperative to help the people of Haiti. I already donated to the Red Cross but I decided to go a step further. I began a little project called "ART FOR HAITI." I am a painter, not as accomplished as you, but I am passionate about painting and about using my God-given gifts to help others. This is what I admire most in you. And I am thankful to be able to help by offering the work of my hands to help save lives.
Thank you for inspiring me to want to do more!
